Description:In 1913 a Millenary Pageant was performed in the Castle fields to celebrate 1000 years of Stafford's history from its founding in 913 AD by Aethelfleda. This photograph is of Nora Ramscar Wright, dressed as Aethelfleda, Lady of the Mercians. She was the youngest daughter of Charles Henry Wright of Tillington Hall.
