Description:A postcard view of the Shrewsbury Arms Hotel on Market Place, formerly The Talbot, which figured prominently in the trial of William Palmer. In later years the building became known as 'The Shrew'. This postcard was published by Woods, Stationers of Rugeley. Over the years Woods were based in several locations around Rugeley and ceased trading in 1958.
