Description:A Claeys M103 combine harvester, manufactured by the Claeys company of Zedelgem, Belgium. Introduced in 1952, It was the first European-built self-propelled combine harvester. From 1959 Claeys were imported by Bamfords of Uttoxeter and were known as Bamford-Claeys, and from 1967 Bamford-Claysons. Taken at an unknown location by Uttoxeter photographer Gerald McCann, who had a national reputation as a high-class photographer of livestock and agricultural life.
