Description:The building on the far left, which can just be seen, was originally Forebridge Villa, built on Lichfield Road in the early nineteenth century.

The house was bought in 1905 by sisters from the French Order of St. Joseph of Cluny. Here they established a convent and girls' school. On the right is the new extension which opened in 1932. Today (2025) the convent is a home for the elderly.
