Description:Leigh & District Women's Institute President Mrs J. Prince plants a copper beech tree to commemorate Decimalisation Day on 13 November 1971. Behind can be seen the old Boys' School built in 1857, now Leigh Village Hall, and the British Legion Hut which no longer stands.
