Description:The Mayor Choosing Ceremony of 1915 saw Willam V'Alters Summers Gradwell Goodwin elected as Mayor of Newcastle-under-Lyme for the third time. William was Mayor for seven consecutive years from 1913 to 1919. This traditional ceremony takes place every year, although today there is no photograph by the market cross.
