Description:Pictured standing, from left to right, are Mabel Law, Kate Law, Thomas Law, Mary Jane Law, Frank Law. Ernest Law is seen sitting on the steps to the house. They must have lived in the house sometime after 1901 when they lived at Tutor's Hill.. In 1901 & 1911 he described himself as a Farmer & Threshing machine proprietor. In 1921 Thomas was gardener at the Vicarage.
Frank worked for Charles Clark in Wolverhampton. Ernest was an organist and choirmaster at St. Chad's. He also became Headmaster at St. Nicholas Primary School.

At this time the Poplars was no longer a Post Office.
