Description:He was born in 1813, became a curate in 1843 and a vicar in 1848. He died in 1900.

Reverend W.G Greenstreet's friendship with the 5th Earl of Dartmouth was influential in improving the circumstances of ordinary folk in Pattingham and Patshull, through education, the provision of a postal service, and pastoral care driven by a strong religious conviction. He also devoted much of his energy to restoring Pattingham Church.
