Description:The Bell Inn may have originally been called The Blue Bell Inn. It was known by this name in 1796 but has mostly been known as The Bell. It is thought originally to have been a farmhouse. At the time of the photograph there was agricultural buildings on the right just out of frame for the camera, they were demolished in the 1990s and replaced with housing.

On the left the lorry stands outside the milk shed.
