Description:A group of school boys with their teacher, Miss Layng, at her private School at 33 Newport Road, Stafford. The school was in existence between about 1890 and 1896. Miss Layng was probably Lucy Melissa Layng, sister of the Headmaster of Stafford Grammar School, A.E.F. Layng.
