Description:Charles Clark’s garage on Gaol Square looking along Gaol Road.

On the left the signpost on the clock pedestal shows the B5066 directing towards RAF Stafford and to Sandon. The garage was demolished in the mid-1970s the site is now occupied by the Gaol Square gyratory.

The car at the BP branded fuel pumps appears to be an Austin A40 Somerset, in production 1952-54.
