Description:A snowy scene at the Smithfield Saturday Market, Uttoxeter. Mr T.B. Bettson of Woodcock Heath, Kingstone is driving a Fordson tractor pulling a livestock trailer into the market.

The livestock market closed in 2001 at the time of the Foot and Mouth outbreak, but reopened and closed for good shortly before the buildings were demolished in 2006 and the site redeveloped.
