Description:Looking down Cross Street towards St Giles Roman Catholic Church with the 17th century Market Cross in the foreground. The cross is surmounted with a Victorian era gas lamp. In front of William Fallows' butchers shop a horse-drawn Hansom Cab can be seen. Behind the cab is probably William Shufflebottom & Son, Housepainters. Elliott's Drapers shop is on the left of Cross Street.
