Description:On the left is Sophia May Myatt (1924-2013) with her sister Doris Leah Myatt (1926-2002) on the right. They lived at 33, Elmore Lane, Rugeley, daughters of William and Florence Myatt. William was a miner at Brereton.

May worked at Shooting Butts Camp School for senior boys which opened in 1940. She married Stanley George Dean of Cannock at Rugeley in 1956. Leah married Douglas Bradbury at Rugeley in 1960.

Shooting Butts Camp School, Penkridge Bank Road, Rugeley was opened in 1940 for evacuee boys from Birmingham. There was also a similar Camp for girls at Pipewood, Blithbury.
