Description:Early 19th century Grade 2 listed Springs Bridge, number 41, over the Caldon Canal near Cheddleton Flint Mill.
The horse-drawn narrow-boat is probably loaded with flint which was transported on the canal to the mill for processing. The burnt and ground powder was then transported to the Potteries for use in the ceramics industry.
