Description:A view of Woodings Yard taken by the entrance in Bailey Street, Stafford. In later years one of the buildings on the right of the entrance was converted into a restaurant known as The Pâté Peoples Place, later it became Wooding’s restaurant and then it changed into an Italian style restaurant called Spaggo’s which has since closed. The Woodings Yard buildings have been refurbished and currently (2025) there are several small business units and studio space for a diversity of various artists, independent designers, creative workshops, art classes, leather making, picture framing, ProteanART, Candid Beer and occasional Artisan markets. On the left edge of the picture and just out of shot of the camera there are several buildings which are part of the Francesco Group of Hair Salons known as the Stafford Academy.
