Description:Malloy House under construction at Cheddleton Asylum. The house was originally the home of the superintendent of the hospital, and was designed by Giles, Gough and Trollope, architects of Cheddleton Asylum. It is now Grade II listed. Dr J.H. Malloy was Deputy Medical Asylum in the 1930s and 1940s.
