Description:Situated in Westwood Park and built around an earlier 17th century house, it was purchased in 1813 by local potter John Davenport as a family house. The Bell Tower is one of the modifications designed by Sheffield based architects Weightman, Hadfield & Goldie and built in 1851-1853.

A school since 1921, it became a mixed comprehensive school in 1965 and it is now a school academy known as Westwood College.
