Description:A watercolour painting of the Ironmarket produced in about 1800 by James Hulse. The black and white building on the right hand side is that of the Star Inn, a medieval structure which still stands today. This painting offers a rare view of the Ironmarket before the building of the Municipal Hall in 1888.
