Description:This view taken in 1962, looks along Garden Street, Stafford, from the junction with the Wolverhampton Road.

In later years the house on the left has had alterations to the garden wall which now has a curve to it. The gable end has a different window frame, and the chimney has been removed. In the centre of the picture the fence has been removed, and the tree has grown considerably in height, otherwise the scene is still recognisable today (2025).
