Date:11th of July 1927

Description:The Cauldon Canal and River Churnet submerged at Brittain's Paper Mill, Cheddleton due to severe flooding after a terrific rain-storm. What was described as the most destructive storm and flood damage in North Staffordshire for over eighty years followed heavy thunderstorms.
