Across the road (Anson Street) is a shop built in the mid-19th century for Harris & Sons Ironmongers. On the right can be seen the Shrewsbury Arms Hotel and the Rugeley Industrial Co-Operative Society and Tea Rooms. This postcard view was published by the Francis Frith Collection, Andover.
