Date:1905

Description:It is likely that a Church stood on this site since Saxon times. Much of the building dates from the 13th Century. The tower dates to 14th Century and is unusual in that it is wholly contained within the Church rather than being a separate feature.

There was a fire in Pattingham in 1677 which destroyed several houses and some of the Church building. The steeple and the outer walls remained and repairs were carried out shortly afterwards.

In 1871, there was also extensive rebuilding and refurbishment of the church and spire.
