Description:This photograph taken from the Moat House access bridge over the River Sow shows the rear of Newport Road Garage on the left bordering the river. In the distance a footbridge crosses the river linking Newport Road to Mill Bank and an entrance to Victoria Park. The Moat House backs onto Victoria Park on the far side of the river from the Newport Road. The garage building was a Peugeot car sales and garage for many years. Since around 2023 it has been re-purposed by NSCG (Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group) Stafford College as a student training unit for construction plant vehicles and equipment.
