Description:Mouldmaker's modelling tool.

Used in the production of plaster moulds for pottery making.

The metal blade is wide, flat and sharpened.

Roughly 9cm in length.

It appears to be one half of a broken tool.

It belonged to a mouldmaker named Mr Juggins who worked between 1930 and 1973.

Taken from the Gladstone Pottery Museum Tools Collection.

This object is now part of the collections at Stoke-on-Trent Museums.
