Description:Redhouse Farm is approached from Stables Drive near the Little Onn Bridge over the Shropshire Union Canal, this view is taken from the far side of the house from Little Onn Road.

Redhouse Farm is the scene of a local legend where the farmer is said to have challenged a local witch, Joan Eaton, to milk his Dun Cow dry. She accepted the challenge and said she would do in one bucket. However, she used a sieve which never filled but still the cow produced milk. Looking around to see why the milking was taking so long the cow saw her milk flowing to the ground and angrily broke free and escaped with such ferocity that she left a hoof mark on a stone near the gate, running off to Worcester where she died. Joan is then said to have put a curse on the farm that should the stone be moved all the farm’s cattle would die. The stone was later moved to Little Onn Hall. This building looks much to new to be the subject of the legend so presumably it must have had a precursor.

The Mini parked by the farmhouse belonged to the photographer, Dr. J.E.C. Peters.
