Description:The Goats Head Tavern stood on the corner of Breadmarket Street and Bore Street, closed in 1969 and was demolished. The site was then occupied by Barclays Bank. The landlord at the time of this photograph was Thomas A. Carter. It finally closed in January 1970 when Horace Wilson was the final mine host.
