Description:An unidentified shooting party pictured on the steps of the porch of a large house. The location maybe somewhere in the Cannock Chase area.

The gentleman standing far right is thought to be John Parker (1861-1930). He became the chief electrician at Cannock Wood Colliery and lived on site in one of several houses close to the pit, presumably built for key personnel. John Parker appears to beholding a stick, and may have been acting as a beater for the shooting party.
