Description:George Rose in his uniform, standing next to Lady Lichfield's Rover 75 and the Shugborough estate delivery van. He was Head Chauffeur to the Earl of Lichfield between about 1920 and 1931, and again from 1933 until his death in 1962. This garage was converted from stables in the Servants' Quarters at Shugborough.
