Description:Included in the photograph are Ciss, Charles, Janet, Madge, Nell, Bertie, Jack, Harvey, Constance and Sidney.Thomas John Griffin married Emily Ann Pemberton at Dudley in 1857 Christened in Stafford in 1828, the son of a Mercer (a dealer in fine textiles). By 1851 John was Farm Bailiff for his Aunt, Ann Stanford at The Farm, Shugborough. By 1861 he is a farmer at Haywood Park, Colwich. He moved to Preston Vale Farm about 1863. They had twelve children. Thomas & Emily died in 1893 & 4 respectively after which their eldest son, Francis took over the farm.
