Description:Victoria Road, Stafford, looking towards the town centre. In the distance is the Technical College on Earl Street, later a Hogshead public house. The billboards surround the site of demolished houses on Tenterbanks which had been cleared to make way for the new Stafford Technical College building, construction of which began in 1937. Advertisements for beer, Vim, Hovis, and greyhound racing at Monmore Green Stadium in Wolverhampton can be seen.
