Description:This postcard picture is of a thatched cottage which stood in Slitting Mill Road, adjacent to the quarry, near the junction with Penkridge Bank and the Stone House, Rugeley. It was demolished in about 1969 having fallen into decay.

The cottage was on the right of Quarry Close (information Mr Stephen Adams).
