Date:6th of April 1919

Description:A photographic postcard portrait of a soldier, signed 'Prince' and dated 6 April 1919. The photographer is White of Felixstowe.

This young man has survived the War and has had his portrait picture taken and sent it home to Barmouth, Wales to either his mother or sweetheart. This soldier displays two stripes to show he has been wounded and has lived to tell the tale. The War is technically over by the date on the card but the Treaty of Versailles has still to be signed and the PoWs at Brocton Camp await to be returned home.
