Description:Once again difficult to identify its location as the Camp was surrounded by slopes as it was on a plateau of flat land. An "X" has been written on the postcard which was common when the writer wanted to highlight where they were billeted. Unfortunately the sender did not mention the Battalion line he was living in. To continue heather burning whilst the area was covered in wooden huts was a brave decision but maybe the landowner wanted to retain his rights. There are only a few places from which it would have been possible to view this number of huts visible on the crown of hill, especially when on two sides were the railway and the rifle ranges.
