Description:13 year old Arthur Hourd, dressed in Tudor costume for Stafford's Millenary Pageant, held in 1913. Arthur Egerton Hourd was the son of the founder of the 'Staffordshire Newsletter' and later succeeded as managing director of its publishers, R.W. Hourd and Son. He was Mayor of Stafford in 1942 and 1943. He died in Stafford in 1962.
