Description:The photo of the Maypole Dance was taken in the field by the Old Croft, Walton-on-the-Hill on the occasion of the Parish of Berkswich celebrations for the 1911 Coronation of King Geroge V and Queen Mary.

The Maypole Queen Annie Torvell is standing by the maypole. Laura Dutton in the white dress is on the left just in the photo. Other girls in the photo are May Pierce, Olga Smith, Lucy Torvell, Violet Tilstone, Olive Mahon, ? Hawkins, Mary Weatherer.
