Description:A group of girls and their teachers at Salt School. The name of the girl with the doll (3rd row, far right) is Nellie Emma Jones (born Hopton in 1891, died 1974).

Salt C.E. School was built by the Earl of Shrewsbury in memory of his daughter, who died in 1856.
