Description:This milepost at Aston-by-Stone stands exactly halfway between Shardlow and Preston Brook on the Trent & Mersey Canal. It is of of a number of cast iron mileposts made by Rangley and Dixon of Lichfield Road, Stone in 1819, replacing previous stone markers. It is Grade II listed.
