Description:Built as a Mission Church 1906-7, St. Paul's Church stood on the Newcastle Road at Beech and also included a school room, which doubled up as a vestry. Designed and built by R. Scrivener and Sons of Hanley, it was formally dedicated and opened by the Bishop of Lichfield on 25 March 1907. Services ceased to be held in 1952 and after standing empty for 12 years St. Paul’s Church was demolished in 1964.
