Description:Oil painting showing two figures facing each other with fists raised and a crowd of onlookers behind. Signed at bottom right - 'Eilidh'. Written on back of stretcher - '"Spoiling for a fight" by Eilidh Barnardo Leomansley House, Lichfield, Staffordshire'.

The artist Eilidh Armour-Brown (Barnado)was born in 1911 and died in 1994. She was a great-niece of Dr. Thomas Barnado.
