Description:Weston Hall was built by Sir Thomas and Lady Wilbraham in 1671. Lady Wilbraham was believed to have been the architect but recent research indicates that William Taylor carried out the designs. In 1762 the Hall and Park passed to the Bridgeman family, later Earls of Bradford (second creation). Weston Park was landscaped by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in the 1760s.
Shrewsbury Lodge was probably originally built in the second half of the 18th century and was moved here from its original site on the opposite side of Mill Lane around 1810.
