Description:Clemesha Brothers & Birch moved into New Street Mill in 1907. The building is now (2014) occupied by Blakemore & Chell, heating engineers, founded in Leek in 1903. A large part of the works were burned down on Wednesday 19 February, 1965.

Established in 1873, Clemesha Brothers & Birch manufactured sewing silks and cottons, braids, dress trimmings, knitted outerwear, shoe laces, scarves and ties.
