Description:Wolverhampton Road looking towards Stafford town centre. The large building in the centre is Camden Place built for Richard Ford in the early nineteenth century and designed by George Gilbert Scott. Later the building was used as a Y.M.C.A. Hostel which opened in 1925. In the 1960s it was used as an annex to the College of Art. The building was demolished in the 1970s to make way for a road scheme.
