Description:Lithograph print. A caricature of Sir George Granville Leveson-Gower (1858-1951) by 'Spy'. Appeared in 'Vanity Fair' August 14th 1886. He was private secretary to Prime Minister William Gladstone from 1880 to 1885, and in 1885 entered Parliament for Staffordshire North-West. He lost his seat in 1886 but returned to the House of Commons when he served for Stoke-on-Trent between 1890 and 1895. The family home was, until 1905, Trentham Hall.
