Description:Located on the High Street, Pattingham, opposite the Village Hall, this block of houses was known as Meadow View. The shop (no. 7) has a plaque above the door inscribed: S T 1692.

At the time of the photograph the shop was run as Scrivens store. The row was demolished soon after, being replaced by a block of modern shops set back further back the road. These can be seen under construction on the extreme left.
