Description:Heathcott School stood on Anchor Road, between Longton and Adderley Green, Stoke-on-Trent.

Youngsters practise household chores at Heathcott School in the 1930s. They are mainly girls engaged in washday activities, which is typical of the period. Notice the gas lighting in the centre of the large room.
