Description:The grade II listed St. Leonard's is the parish church of Dunston, near Stafford. It was built in 1876-1878 to designs by W. D. Griffin of Wolverhampton for the Perry family. Described by Pevsner as "a town church in the country", it replaced an older church which had a mediaeval stone tower and a Georgian brick nave. Since this photograph was taken the metalwork from the churchyard wall pillars has been removed and the wall to right replaced with a hedgerow alongside a public footpath. The lych gate stands adjacent to the (A449) road.

This colour-tinted postcard was posted from Dunston, franked in Stafford on 10 September 1910 and sent to an address in Birmingham. It was published by R.W. Dawson of 10, Bridge Street, Stafford.
