Description:Featured in this postcard view is Corporation Street looking north from the junction with Cambridge Street.

Corporation Street was said to be the longest street in Stafford. The houses were built in the mid 1890s. The railings on the front garden walls have since been removed, possibly to aid a war effort. Several children are pictured posing for the camera, and a horse-drawn cab can be seen in the distance.

The postcard was posted from Stafford on 10 January 1908 and sent to an address in London.
