Description:Featured in this postcard view is Corporation Street with housing built in the mid 1890s.

Corporation Street was said to be the longest street in Stafford. The railings on the front garden walls have since been removed, possibly to aid a war effort. The house with the children outside is thought to be No. 74 or 75. On the right is the site of St. Georges Hospital.

This 'Shaw' Series postcard was posted in Stafford on 17 August 1908 and sent to an address in Weston-super-Mare.
