Description:A postcard view of Castle Church which is dedicated to St. Mary, Castle Bank, Stafford.

The church is Grade II* listed. Only the 15th century tower survives from an earlier building. It was rebuilt in 1844-1845 to the designs of George Gilbert Scott and William Bonython Moffatt by William Evans of Ellastone. The church was further enlarged in 1898 by Scott's son John Oldrid Scott.

The postcard was published by F. Frith & Co., Reigate. It was posted from Stafford on 5 August 1957 to an address in Felixstowe.
